Staff spoke enough English to able to help, assist in whatever needs you have.

It would be helpful to have a connecting bridge to travel over to the other side of the hotel instead of going outside to get to the other side.

The staff was friendly. They gave us cards with directions to give to the cab driver for all the destinations we wanted to go to. Cabs were inexpensive in traveling around the city and to the airport. The breakfast was good, it was included in our room price. ...read more

The standard rooms were well standard and bland.

For the price, I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. The room was decent and the staff was very accommodating. The room had a leaky
AC and the whole hallway got wet, but the staff quickly switched us to another room and apologized profusely. I spent about a week in this hotel, it was a good experience and would consider staying here again. ...read more

This hotel is next to the Shanghai Railway Station making it very convenient for getting around.

It's downtown location isn't exactly downtown. A little far from the action.

A good hotel with a good price. Very close to the Shanghai Railway Station, which makes getting in and out of town very easy. Also very close to the metro. However, the "Downtown" location isn't quite downtown. It's a little further away from the action, which can be good or bad, depending what you are looking for.
